I must say that this 'new' Guitar Scale System Russian Nervous System approach to learning guitar sounds intriguing… but is it really what it seems?

You see, I have always preached and taught the concept of training your muscles to play perfectly and effortlessly on auto-pilot for years. No biggie.

And explaining this concept takes about 5 minutes. No DVD course necessary! In fact, here's a video I made some time ago for my members explaining the concept that you can have for free.

This is powerful stuff folks…

Now, it seems to me that to devote a whole course to this 'system' is somewhat over the top. I mean, you still have to learn a hell of a lot MORE than how to simply use your hands properly, right?

The reality is, developing good guitar playing technique helps make 'playing' guitar easier. But it doesn't help you become a guitar player!

To become a guitar player, a musician, requires many other far more important skills.

Learning HOW to use your hands most efficiently is just the beginning of your guitar playing journey. It is NOT the most important part, nowhere near it in fact!

Let's look at the Big Picture

To become a good musician (includes playing guitar, keyboards, bass etc) involves many hours of dedicated practice.

But first let's look at what being a good musician is.

A good musician worth his salt will be able to:

1. Play songs by ear just by listening to them
2. Will be able to play any song in any key right on the spot
3. Can recognize chord progressions when they hear them and be able to play along with other musicians (by ear) without any problems

Now learning how to do all that CAN'T be achieved by some mystical mumbo-jumbo Russian nervous system technology!

So save your money folks, just watch my video above and follow a method that REALLY does show you all you need to learn.

John Scofield used to be a pretty straight ahead bebop guy. Listen to 'Rough House' for an example of that.

But he has really branched out and created a unique style combining groove, funk, blues, jazz etc.

This is an example of his new approach. Very inventive, funky and bluesy. Love it.
