Major Scale Modes: Part 2
This is the Major Scale Modes video lesson #2.
These are applied to Amaj7, A7, and Ami7 chords.
Major 7th chords use Ionian and Lydian modes. Dominant 7th chords use the Mixolydian mode. Minor 7th chords use the Dorian, Phrygian and Aeolian (natural minor) modes.

JB. Just watched the videos and I think I can see the pattern emerging, and may be a light dawning, not certain yet but with a bit of practice yes, its a lot to take in as only a basic beginer, started just before I signed on.
Thanks Stephen B
this video was easier to follow in conjuction with the 1st video.i think if it is possible you should have a split screen video showing the scale and the playing of the scale.
.
j.B.,Thank you for making the video on modes;like you I have been struggling with guitar for ten years now,and don't seem to get the sound that you achieve in your videos…it sounds so right the way you play!
Nice job JB – this makes understanding modes a little easier for me.
