Learn & Master Guitar Website

Learn & Master Guitar is a 20 DVD guitar course for those wanting to teach themselves to play guitar. It's easy to follow and very easy to use. Step-by-step simple.

Great for busy people who want to maximize their learning in a shorter time-frame.

This is certainly no regular learn guitar product. It's special. But I must admit, I am biased…

I love this product because it teaches you to master the basics like no other course I have ever seen. And I'm a firm believer in mastering the basics by practicing them on a regular basis. Just as Tiger Woods 'regularly' practices the basics of putting, driving, chipping etc., guitarists also need to practice the basics regularly too. It keeps your chops up, and it provides a solid foundation for all your other guitar playing endeavors.

Learn & Master Guitar DVD's

You get an all-inclusive grounding in all the essential basic skill sets — picking, strumming, finger-picking, timing, rhythm, chords, scales, soloing, vibrato, bends, slides, and even tapping.

You also get a first-rate grounding in different music styles too… rock, blues, folk, country, funk, and more. (HINT: Playing different styles is easy if you have the basics down pretty good.)

Most other basic courses (including books) are either too basic, or too specialized. And they tend to leave a lot out which means you have to buy more to fill in the gaps. But Learn and Master guitar covers all bases. It's all you need to become a confident 'intermediate' level guitar player.

It's also excellent preparation for going to music school or advanced studies with a top-flight teacher, too.

Con's

Can't really find any. Unless you count the fact that it is a physical product and has to be delivered to your door. Shipping can be pricey depending where you are.

And, as with all programs of study, you have to follow through and do the work. But Learn and master Guitar does make it easy.

Conclusion

This product gets my #1 recommendation. It provides excellent tuition in the basics and provides a solid foundation to build on. And it's superb value for money.

Because of the material covered and the easy-to-follow lessons, it's like a turbo-charger that helps you get there a lot faster. So whether you just want to play at home for fun jamming along with Eric Clapton, or build a solid foundation for further serious 'professional' study, then this is an excellent place to start.
