<p>Just remember&#8230;</p>
<ul>
<li>for major chords (the 1 and 4 chords of the major scale) you can use the Ionian or Lydian modes</li>
<li>for dom7 chords use the Mixolydian mode</li>
<li>for mi7 chords, use the Dorian, Phrygian or Aeolian modes</li>
</ul>
<p>The next video will show a quick and dirty way to play modes with pentatonic scales.</p>
